Harry M. Rifkin, Esquire has been practicing in the area of franchise and distribution law since 1983, representing national and regional franchisors and franchisees.

His practice includes:

Franchise litigation
Preparation of franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements
Consulting with prospective franchisees about franchises which they are considering buying.

In addition to franchise law matters, Mr. Rifkin handles a variety of other business and commercial litigation matters including, but not limited to, creditors rights, construction defect litigation, securities litigation and antitrust litigation.

Mr. Rifkin graduated from George Washington University with Distinction and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a long time and active member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising and the Maryland State Bar Association Franchise & Distribution Law Commitee. He has written articles and about and spoken on franchising for many publications and organizations. He is also currently teaching law courses as an adjunct professor at Stevenson University (formerly Villa Julie College).
